STANDING ORDER NO. 311
RELEASE OF COMPUTER DATABASE INFORMATION

THE COURT HEREBY FINDS pursuant to California Welfare and Institutions Code Sections 827 and 827.1 that the San Francisco Department of Adult Probation and the San Francisco Department of Juvenile Probation have a compelling need for the exchange of computer database information to permit employees of the San Francisco Department of Adult Probation to access all criminal history information including all contact dates, charges filed, petitions filed, dispositions, detention and release dates for juveniles under the jurisdiction of the San Francisco Juvenile Court.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that employees of the San Francisco Department of Juvenile Probation may provide to the San Francisco Department of Adult Probation information regarding criminal history including all contact dates, charges filed, petitions filed, dispositions, detention and release dates for juveniles under the jurisdiction of the San Francisco Juvenile Court. The information shall be provided solely for the purpose of probation officers and law enforcement officers who are actively participating in criminal proceedings involving the former juvenile, and adequate measures to ensure the confidentiality of this information will be implemented.
