Juvenile Cases Adjudicated as Strikes Shall Not Be Destroyed 6/19/00
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
IN AND FOR THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO
JUVENILE DIVISION
STANDING ORDER NO. 313
TO THE JUVENILE PROBATION DEPARTMENT AND THE SUPERIOR COURT CLERK'S OFFICE.
Juvenile cases adjudicated as strikes shall not be destroyed pursuant to Welfare and Institutions code Sections 781(g), 707(b) and 707(c), Penal Code Sections 667(d)(3), 667.5 (violent felonies) and 1192.7(c) (serious felonies).
The definition of a juvenile strike case is two pronged:
First, the case must be a listed offense under Welfare and Institutions Code Section 707(b); Secondly, the case must also be a listed offense under either Penal Code Section 667.5 or 1192.7(c).M
Therefore, IT IS THE ORDER of the Superior Court, Juvenile Division, City and County of San Francisco, that:
THERE SHALL BE NO DESTRUCTION OF ANY ADJUDICATED JUVENILE STRIKE CASE BY THE JUVENILE PROBATION DEPARTMENT OR THE SUPERIOR COURT CLERK'S OFFICE.
