Traffic Court to Offer More Trials Beginning Oct. 19

Due to an increase in the number of requests for trials on traffic infractions, the San Francisco Superior Court will now offer more trials every week on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Beginning at 9 a.m., attorneys who serve as Judge Pro Tems will preside over these trials at the Hall of Justice in Department C (which will be heard in Courtroom B during this temporary program). The expanded trial slots are intended to give individuals better customer service by offering them the opportunity to swiftly resolve their cases. The program is scheduled to continue through March 2010.
